Brittany hails from the planet Koppai, which is suffering from famine due to a 'booming population, booming appetites, and a basic lack of planning.' She is the botanist of the three-person team sent to scout PNF-404 for cultivable food. After the S.S. Drake crash-lands, Brittany falls into the Garden of Hope, where Alph finds and rescues her with the aid of Rock Pikmin. Later, in the Distant Tundra, Alph discovers the Yellow Pikmin, and the team rescues Charlie from a web cocoon in the Distant Tundra, where he had been captured by the Vehemoth Phosbat. The trio recovers Captain Olimar's lost data files and learns that Olimar has the cosmic-drive key, which he mistook for a treasure. They mistakenly rescue Louie from the Twilight River after receiving his SOS message meant for Olimar. Louie steals the team's food supply and a 'Golden Guitar' treasure, escaping to his and Olimar's destroyed spaceship. After retrieving and interrogating him, they learn Olimar is in the Formidable Oak. There, the characters and Pikmin defeat the Plasm Wraith to save Olimar, who returns the key. The three offer Olimar and Louie a ride back to Hocotate, and they return home as the Pikmin wave goodbye.

In Their Own Story

Brittany's journey begins with the crash-landing of the S.S. Drake on PNF-404, which separates her from Alph and Charlie. She is stranded in the Garden of Hope, where Alph eventually finds and rescues her with the help of Rock Pikmin. Later, in the Distant Tundra, Brittany discovers the Yellow Pikmin and assists in rescuing Charlie after the S.S. Drake crashes once more. The trio recovers Olimar's lost data files, learning he has the cosmic-drive key. They mistakenly rescue Louie from the Twilight River, but he steals their food supply and Charlie's rubber duck, escaping to his and Olimar's destroyed spaceship. After retrieving and interrogating Louie, they learn Olimar is in the Formidable Oak. There, the captains and Pikmin defeat the Plasm Wraith to save Olimar, who returns the key. The three offer Olimar and Louie a ride back to Hocotate, and they return home as the Pikmin wave goodbye. If the player collects all fruits, the narrator states that the three have successfully completed their mission to restore life in Koppai and that the S.S. Drake's crash-landing may not have been an accident.
